Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 – S. 17 (1) – Auction Purchaser has a remedy of filing appeal u/s. 17(1) of the SARFAESI Act before the Debts Recovery Tribunal questioning the confirmation of auction and other proceeding.
One person cannot be denied to get a certified copy of the FIR from the police authorities as it would offend the right guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
The remedy available under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 is an additional remedy for consumers and not in derogation of remedy available under Section 8-B of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885.
